Simple Ways on How to Improve Sperm Taste

We are what we eat. A man is defined by the food he eats, and so does sperm taste. A man’s diet will greatly affect the taste of his sperm. A good example is when a man just drank milk at breakfast. It is expected that if he ejaculates 12 to 24 hours after, his sperm and semen will taste like milk. So how does one make it tastier?

What Makes Up a Normal Sperm Ejaculated?

Ejaculated semen is usually composed of simple sugars like fructose, protein, ascorbic acid, and other substances produced by the prostate gland, testicles, and even other non-reproductive parts of the body. Although it may taste acidic, it has a neutral pH of 7. Ejaculated semen ejaculated is usually composed of only 1 percent sperm.

Sperm taste is often described as bitter and salty for some. Men are very conscious about their sperm taste and have always wanted it to be sweet.

Here are some ways on how make’s one sperm tastier:

  • Water Therapy

It’s all about flushing out all those toxins inside the body, so drinking fluids particularly water will definitely help in less bitter and salty taste of one’s sperm.

  • Fruit Diet

Apples, pineapples, grapes, papaya, mangoes, and other tropical fruits are all recommended to make one’s sperm sweeter. These fruits are made of natural sugars, not the synthetic ones. Lemon, cinnamon, and peppermint are also suggested for sperm sweetness.

Not all vegetables can be eaten to improve sperm taste. Avoid cauliflowers, cabbage, broccoli, or asparagus as this family of vegetables can produce foul-smelling and tasting sperms. Celery, wheatgrass, and parsley are recommended as they have high chlorophyll content and will help the semen taste sweeter. As much as possible, you should try eating foods that are natural and avoid highly processed foods.

  • Reduction of Red Meat and Dairy Products

Red meat has been shown to affect sperm taste by making it salty. Go for other forms of meat instead like poultry, chicken, or turkey perhaps. Dairy products like milk, cheese, and yogurt are known to make one’s sperm salty.

  • Elimination of Food with Heavy Spices

Those with heavy spices may also give your sperm a very offending taste and odor. Limit your consumption of garlic and onions as they have very high sulfur content, which makes sperm taste salty. Stay away from junk foods as well as it is high in sodium that can greatly affect semen taste.

  • Food Supplements

Consider taking zinc or selenium supplements as they are shown to greatly affect sperm taste and make it sweeter.

  • Lifestyle Change

Cut back on alcohol and cigarettes as they produce toxins inside the body, and any toxin taken will most likely be secreted through body fluids like one’s semen. However, if you have already change your diet and there are no changes at all with your semen taste, there might be an underlying cause. An example is semen with a very distinctly strong smell that may be caused by infection. It is recommended to see a doctor if this happens.
